At Christ Temple, we celebrate the lives of the bridges that brought us over. We are committed to serving our senior adults through our ‘Golden Gems’ ministry.

The CTCLC Golden Gems staff advocates for our seniors through educating and empowering our church to grasp the vision for senior adults.

We do this by providing resources, honoring them for their wisdom, dedication, and contributions to the body of Christ, and providing numerous opportunities for love and fellowship.

SENIOR WOMEN'S 'BRIDGE BUILDERS' MONTHLY ZOOM MEETING

Once a month, Christ Temple's senior women, the "Bridge Builders" group meet via Zoom to encourage, inspire and motivate members of the group.

INTECESSORY PRAYER

The Golden Gems actively engage in intercessory prayer for our members.

PLANNED OUTINGS

The Golden Gems have planned outings throughout the year. A popular outing that many members of Christ Temple attend is the Golden Gems sponsored Valentine's Day outing at Derby Dinner Playhouse.

GOLDEN GEM SUNDAYS and GOLDEN GEM of the MONTH

Two events established by our late Pastor, Bishop Michael E. Ford, Sr., were: Golden Gem of the month, where a selected Golden Gem is honored for their personal commitment, wisdom, service, and dedication to the past, present, and future ministry of CTCLC; and the quarterly Golden Gems Sunday, where our Golden Gems actively participate in the service by welcoming guests, praying, reading scripture, ushering, sharing testimonies, and leading heritage songs.
