The Council of Men is the staple of Christ Temple's men's ministry.
Our mission is the development and advancement of Christian male leaders, mentors, community workers and role models.
The Council of Men ministry was designed to challenge men to accept their role in God's family by encouraging them to advance in Godly character while inspiring them to work as a team and to assist in ministry and the community abroad.
ANNUAL WALK-A-THON
The Council of Men host an annual walk-a-thon at Chickasaw Park in West Louisville. Sponsorship for the walk comes from the generous donations of businesses as well as well as individuals, and proceeds from the walk support efforts and programs in Kenya, East Africa.
MEN'S INTERCESSORY PRAYER GROUP
Once a week The Council of Men meet via conference call to engage in intercessory prayer for Christ Temple members and for the community at large.
ANNUAL SUPERBOWL OUTREACH
The annual Super Bowl event is a community outreach opportunity for men of all ages, both young and old, for fun and fellowship. The event was designed for those who mentor young men, as well as for grandfathers, fathers, and sons who wish to reconnect.
Transformed Series
This bi-monthly men's fellowship is a vehicle that allows men to speak candidly about issues that are relevant to men, their relationships, and their integrity. In addition, the meeting serves as a men's support and accountability instrument of the Christ Temple Christian Life Center.
