OUTREACH
What we've done...

Our passion for missions is not just overseas, but it is also in reaching out to our communities here at home.
The vision of the Outreach Ministry is to fulfill the Great Commission and to “reach the lost at any cost”.
Our mission is to see souls saved, healed and set free. To assist us in our outreach efforts, Christ Temple has developed an Outreach Leadership Team. The Leadership team has directed such outreach efforts as, weekly neighborhood church services, Sidewalk Sunday School, Sidewalk Vacation Bible School and "mini" revivals, and door to door canvassing to spread the “good news of the gospel”.

Some of our members have participated in the Wayside Christian Mission Homeless Coalition "Homeless Count," where we distributed much needed supplies to our community's homeless population.

WEEKLY COMMUNITY CHURCH SERVICES DURING SUMMER MONTHS
The Outreach Ministry has facilitated weekly church services during the summer months. The services include music, praise, worship and preaching. There are also classes for the children.

'MINI' REVIVALS
Sidewalk Sunday school has not only been designed for children, but adults benefited as well. When Sidewalk Sunday school "mini revivals" occurred, parents had revival under the tent, while the outreach staff provided activities for the children!

SIDE WALK SUNDAY SCHOOL
Side walk Sunday school continues to be one of the memorable outreach efforts of the Outreach Ministry. Side Walk Sunday school was created for children and adults so that those who did not attend Sunday school, could have Sunday school brought to them! Sidewalk Sunday school included teaching, fun-filled activities, and refreshments that the entire community could avail themselves of.

PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY MINISTRIES
Christ Temple has participated in such activities as the "homeless count" for a local ministry who meets the needs of the city's homeless population. The homeless count event not only served to determine the number of Louisville's homeless population, but to also distribute much needed supplies to the homeless; such as socks, gloves, blankets, and food.

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
