EVANGELIST PAMELA R. REED

Evangelist Pamela R. Reed is the second child of fourteen children born to Alfrieda and Emmet E. Butler, Jr. She is a lifelong member of Christ Temple from birth.  She was baptized in the name of Jesus at the tender age of seven and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost in August of 1967 at the age of ten.

She is an anointed woman of God, who reaches out to help people from all walks of life. Her unique gift of reaching out to help others, makes her ministry a special blessing to all God’s people.

Evangelist Reed is the former Tri-State Youth Conference Vice-President, President and National Youth Conference President of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International (PCAFI), the first female ever to hold this position. Currently, Evangelist Reed holds the position of 2nd Assistant Pastor at Christ Temple Christian Life Center. She is actively involved with the Leadership Staff and Pastoral Care Ministry Team.

The PCAF Board of Bishops ordained Evangelist Pamela Reed in the summer of 1999 during their Annual Holy Convocation in Rochester, New York. In January of 2003, the late Bishop Michael E. Ford, Sr., elevated Evangelist Reed as 3rd Assistant Pastor of Christ Temple Christian Life Center, and after the demise of 2nd Assistant Pastor Shirley Bennett, she was appointed as 2nd Assistant Pastor.

Evangelist Reed was married to Deacon James W. Reed, Jr., on January 6, 2001.

Her mission and goal in life is to be a blessing to everyone that crosses her path. Evangelist Reed's favorite quote is "The safest place in the whole wide world is in the will of God," and her favorite scripture is found in Psalm 63:3:

Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
